Ekonomi merupakan unsur yang penting dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Kondisi ini, kiranya juga telah menyadarkan masyarakat desa Cikarawang. Sebagian besar wilayah Desa Cikarawang diperuntukkan sebagai daerah pertanian berupa sawah dan ladang. Dari luas 226,56 ha, sebesar 85 persen di antaranya diperuntukkan penggunaannya untuk sawah dan ladang. Penelitian laporan yang ini gunakan ialah metode penelitian deskriptif, dimana metode ini menghimpun dan mendeskripsikan sumber penelitian dengan berpatokan pada teori-teori. Penelitian ini menghasilkan, bahwa tingkat pertumbuhan ekonomi di desa Cikarawang Kecamatan Dramaga tumbuh meskinpun beberapa persen jika dibandingkan dengan sebelumnya
