STRATEGI GURU PAI DAN BUDI PEKERTI DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEDISIPLINAN BELAJAR SISWA DI SMPIT AL-HIDAYAH KECAMATAN TAMANSARI KABUPATEN BOGOR TAHUN AJARAN 2018/2019

The development of Islamic religious education in modern times has undergone many advancements, including the increasing awareness of Muslim individuals of their obligation to study, including in shaping good character and behavior in human life. At the same time there are changes that trigger the depletion of the discipline that this nation has. Even though this disciplinary attitude is very important because it can affect the morals and attitudes of children in the learning process and in mingling with the community. The results of this study indicate that the strategies used by PAI and character teachers to improve the learning discipline of SMPIT Al-Hidayah Bogor students include: giving rewards and punishments (gifts and punishments) and tanzil/tadarruj methods (regular steps). The obstacles faced are: inconsistent in providing reward and punishment, lack of supervision of students, and lack of discipline of teachers and students. The solution to overcome obstacles is to remind discipline regularly to teachers and students, consistent with regulations, and morning nasyid programs.
