INOVASI MANAJEMEN PERPUSTAKAAN DALAM MENUNJANG AKREDITASI INSTITUSI DI UIN SUNAN GUNUNG DJATI BANDUNG

Peran pustakawan di perpustakaan perguruan tinggi sangat penting, tidak hanya untuk mengelola sumber daya, tetapi juga untuk meningkatkan akreditasi institusi. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi praktik inovatif yang dilakukan oleh pustakawan di UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung dalam meningkatkan layanan perpustakaan dan mendukung proses akreditasi institusi. Melalui metode penelitian kualitatif, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, studi ini membahas temuan dan diskusi mengenai peran penting serta inovasi para pustakawan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa pustakawan di Pusat Perpustakaan UIN Bandung memainkan peran penting dalam mendukung akreditasi institusi melalui kompetensi manajerial dan pengembangan profesional yang berkelanjutan. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data primer. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa: (1) Peran pustakawan UIN Bandung sangat baik dalam mendukung akreditasi institusi. (2) Kualitas pustakawan dinilai kompeten di bidangnya karena UIN Bandung menyelenggarakan pelatihan dan sertifikasi kompetensi bagi para pustakawannya. (3) Inovasi yang ditekankan oleh pustakawan UIN Bandung adalah efektivitas dana, efisiensi sumber daya manusia, serta pengelolaan anggaran. (4) Perpustakaan luring tetap dipertahankan dengan peningkatan kualitas layanan dan kenyamanan.
