Istilah-istilah Hadits Menurut Abu dawud (Studi atas Kitab Sunan Abu Dawud)

Abstract

Abu Dawud is a scholar of hadith who is famous for his Sunan book. He was born in Sijistan in 202 H and died in 275 H. The book of Sunan Abu Dawud is named Sunan Abu Dawud. He is one of the scholars who recognized because of his credibility in the field of hadith, proved much with many of the works he wrote.                     This is a literary research. The primary source is taken from the book of Sunan Abu Dawud. Meanwhile, its secondary sources are derived from various books of Mustalah Hadith, syarh hadith, books of Perawi’s biography, journals, books and others sources that related to this research. This study uses the theory of science of hadith, while in proposing the results of research using descriptive method.                    The results proved that Abu Dawud hadith thought is proved in the book of Sunan Abu Dawud. Abu Dawud explains the criteria of the shahih of the hadith is not detailed directly. Yet in determining it’s the shahih is almost the same as Muslims. The Perawi who narrated  the hadiths have attachments between teachers and students. Abu Dawud in judging the hadith as it described in his Sunan book, he dividesd into five terms, namely á¹¢haḥîh, yusybihuhû (which resembles á¹£haḥīh) which according to the scholars of hadith namely á¹£haḥīh ligairihi, yuqâribuhu (which approached á¹£haḥīh) which according to the hadith scholars is hasan liżÄtihi, wahn syadîdun (a very á¸a'Ä«f hadith), and Ṣâlih which according to the scholars of hadith is hasan lighairihi. Abu Dawud in composing his book only lists 2-4 hadiths in one chapter.
