Artikel ini  mendiskusikan tentang  kekayaan Rasulullah       dan sumber-sumber penghasilan  beliau serta  korelasi antara  kekayaan dan
kesederhanaan  kehidupan yang beliau jalani. Makalah ini membuktikan bahwa  Rasulullah  memiliki  banyak  harta,  akan  tetapi  karena  sifat
kedermawanan luar biasa yang beliau miliki sering menjadikan dirinya terkesan sangat sederhana bahkan beberapa waktu harus menahan lapar karena tidak ada makanan yang dimakan. Makalah inipun membuktikan
bahwa harta dunia tidak buruk secara dzatnya, dia akan buruk jika menjadikan pemiliknya lupa akan ibadah pada Allah.
